Dover Foundation Scholarships

In 1947, at the first meeting of the Dover Foundation, Chairman Chester W. Dowd and a committee of 31 people met with a common purpose of founding an organization to fulfill two objectives:

    1.) To bring Dover people together through the medium of a

         major event each year

    2.) To raise money for a college scholarship fund.

Thus, the Dover Foundation was born.
